The CyberSaturday is a monthly event organized by TkkrLab, accessible for everyone. We usually started from 2:00 pm. After the event there is an opportunity to hang around, around supper time we check to see if something can be arranged together (at your own expense). From 2021 we have received a subsidy which makes it possible to organize this monthly and to invite (foreign) guests. Everyone is welcome to participate in our activities, you don’t have to be a TkkrLab member.

But how do they work, what is the purpose and how can they be used as a learning tool? In this presentation Julian Roseboom takes you through the different types of CTFs and how they can be used in schools such as Media Awareness or in companies as a test for new products.

18 September from 14:00 Dutch Cyborg : Patrick Paumen Dutch Cyborg Patrick Paumen has a total of 27 30 implants in his body. With these implants, he has superpowers and can magically open doors, detect magnetic and electromagnetic fields and make contactless payments. As an experience expert, he explains which different implants are available and how you can use them in daily life. He explains the use of different RFID / NFC chips and how you can even open a door with them (cloning of a chip).

16 April from 14:00 LED Strips Everywhere for Everyone! LED strips have become really inexpensive. Lots of people have created inexpensive methods of controlling their color and brightness. This workshop shows one way to control LED strips, to make them do what you want. We will use a very cheap Arduino clone. I’ll show you everything you need to know to use existing programs – as-is, or to hack on – to control the colors in your world with LED strips.

Almost all modern electronics are made with SMD (service mounted devices), components that are soldered directly onto the circuit boards. In this workshop you will learn some practical techniques on how to solder the smallest SMD parts yourself.
